Alkaline apologized which demonstrated that he is truly a big man and that he loves his fans after he issued a statement of regret for what took place in the UK.
Though the chaos was not created by Alkaline directly because based on subsequent reports and posts of disappointed irate fans who did not get to see him perform, the greedy actions of the organizers caused the incident. Fans have placed the blame solely at the organizers’ feet for not been able to see the Vendetta Boss performance. Fans have been saying that the organizers overbooked the venue and some patrons could not get inside, which resulted in the pandemonium.
It was a sold-out show at the O2 Brixton Academy where the Vendetta Boss was scheduled to perform; nevertheless, moments before the start of the event, organizers were forced to pull the plug on the show after the deejay’s fans got riotous.
A disappointed Alkaline who was really looking forward to performing for his UK fans issued a formal apology though it was not his fault that the concert got cancelled;
We apologize to all our fans who came out to see Alkaline at the O2 Brixton Academy.
It was an unfortunate situation, as the artiste himself was disappointed, he was ready to perform for his fans. However, as a result of failure to control the crowd, and the assessment of potential damages, the event could not go on and for this, we apologize to the fans and all who were affected as a result.
No information was disclosed on a rescheduled date for the Alkaline UK concert, but the artiste is gearing up for a big performance at the upcoming Reggae Sumfest in July.
